Prepare . Protect . Review
Prepare . Protect . Review Ivory Tower Financial Services helps churches, ministers, and other nonprofit organizations evaluate financial risk. Insurance and investment products may be among the tools used to help clients. We are an independent broker and began operations in 1994. In that time, we have worked with many churches and nonprofits. We understand the needs and many of the constraints faced by these organizations. Many of our clients are looking for health care plans for their employees. The cost of health care has risen over time, and organizations may be looking for new plans and alternatives to paying higher premiums. There are various methods that may help clients review their needs. It might be that they need a combination of plans to help manage costs while maintaining appropriate coverage, or to consider other strategies. Whatever it is, we help our clients sort through the various various plans and options to review available options based on their needs and budget. We are brokers and have contracts with many providers of health, life, dental, disability, and vision insurance. We can help you review plan options for your organization. Does your church or nonprofit organization have a plan in place to pay retirement benefits while also paying current employees? Is there a contract or agreement in place to guide new leaders? Clear plans with funding to execute them may help support smoother transitions. We realize that to pay for these benefits and programs, churches often receive most of their money from the financial contributions of their members. Some organizations may wish to consider insurance-related strategies related to those contributions. There are also ways for members to endow the church with charitable gifts of life insurance and other assets. These gifts may have tax considerations for the donor and may support larger gifts for the church. Your church may have members who are willing and able to endow the church with a significant gift. We can provide general information about charitable giving programs. Donors and organizations should consult their tax and legal advisers regarding their specific circumstances. We believe that the church can be a place for financial education. We may provide educational seminars on approved financial topics. We also like investment clubs and business clubs as a hands-on way to learn about investments and business, where approved. We can provide general educational information to help you review this topic. We look forward to being of service to your organization.
Benefits for Ministers and Families Pastors and their families may benefit from reviewing options such as health, life, dental, vision, and disability insurance. We help review plans for pastors and other key staff that may help address financial risk faced by the family and/or the minister in the event of death, accident, sickness, or disability, subject to policy terms, conditions, and limitations.
Retirement Churches may wish to consider retirement plans for ministers and other long-term or key employees. Retirement planning generally benefits from advance preparation and regular review. We help churches review available options based on their situation.
